Lesotho, China Economic and Technical Cooperation Continues
 

Lesotho and the People's Republic of China have signed a M20 million economic and technical cooperation agreement. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Monyane Moleleki signed on behalf of the country while Chinese Ambassador, Mr. Qiu Bohua signed on behalf of his government.

The grant is to be used in projects agreed upon by the two governments. 

Expressing the country’s gratitude, Mr. Moleleki said China has assisted Lesotho in various developmental projects including the 'Manthabiseng National Convention Centre and the National Library.

Ambassador Bohua in his turn said over the past few years, the exchanges and cooperation between these two countries have witnessed good momentum in various fields, including a successful visit to Lesotho by the Chinese Foreign Minister Mr.Li Zhaoxing a few months ago.

He also announced that as part of promoting and strengthening good relations between these countries, the Prime Minister Mr. Pakalitha Mosisili will pay an official visit to China later this year.
