| Law Enforcement Bodies to Coordinate their Work | |
| The
Lesotho Mounted Police Service the Lesotho revenue Authority and the
Directorate on Corruption and economic Offences plan a more coordinated
approach to crime this year with members of their staff involved in the same
training courses.
A joint member team of six people are attending a six week International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) training programme beginning in Botswana on January 24. Training here will equip participants with leadership skills, ethics, internal controls, the rule of law and management of the investigative process. They will also learn specific method and techniques in dealing with subjects such as drug enforcement, financial and violent crimes, border security and firearms, according to a press release from the United States Embassy.
