A land management booklet to assist and guide community councils and land allocation committees has been published and will be launched by the Minister of Local Government Dr. Pontšo Sekatle at Nyakosoba, Roma, on December 15.

Maseru District Administrator Mrs. Ntharetso Lieta announcing the launch said the booklet contains laws and regulations to ensure appropriate land allocation by the local authorities. 

During the launch, there will also be presentations on components of the book by officials from the Ministry of Local Government.

The ceremony will be attended by members of parliament (MPs), principal chiefs, district community councils' chairpersons and secretaries as well as councillors from the districts of Berea, Thaba-Tseka and Maseru.
