The Lesotho Revenue Authority (LRA) has announced the appointment of a new Director of Finance and Administration with effect from 3^rd February 2005. He is Mr. Lerotholi Pheko.

Mr. Pheko will be taking over from Mr. Thabo Letjama, promoted to the position of Commissioner of Customs and Excise.

A statement from the LRA says the new Director, who is a Chartered Accountant by profession, joins the LRA after serving Loti Brick for over four years as Financial and Administration Manager. He has also worked for companies and state enterprises such as Vodacom Lesotho and Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) among others.

Welcoming the new Commissioner, Commissioner General Mr. Kevin Donovan expressed his confidence that Mr. Pheko will use his vast experience and knowledge to strengthen the Finance and Administration Division, the epicentre of all tax collection and routine functions of the Authority.
