Members of the Lesotho Teachers Trade Union (LTTU) get to elect new leadership when the organisation holds its eighth national conference at the 'Manthabiseng Convention Centre, Maseru, from January 3 - 6, 2006, according to General Secretary Mr. Vuyani Tyhali.

Member teachers from various districts will also have an opportunity to appoint new leadership for the union as is the case after every three years.

Under the theme: 'Build a sound state, defend quality teachers to deliver quality public education’, the conference will also tackle organizational problems, Mr. Tyhali said.
