LEFA Gives Hey the Boot

The Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) has terminated the contract of national coach Tony Hey after finding him guilty on the charges leveled against him.

LEFA president Advocate Salemane Phafane told a media conference at the Bambatha Ts'ita Sports arena on October 13 that Tony Hey had been charged with cross misconduct, cross insubordination, cross dereliction of duty and absenteeism.

The national executive committee (NEC) of LEFA decided to press charges against Hey after he absented himself without notifying the relevant authorities and his failure to attend a disciplinary hearing in September.

Hey was on a three and half contract with LEFA.
