LCN Plots Way Forward
The Lesotho Council of Non-Governmental Organizations (LCN) holds its half-yearly meeting with non-governmental organisations over three days in Maseru beginning January 19, according to LCN Information Officer Ms Thandiwe Solwandle.

The meeting, basing itself on the Council's 2003 to 2005 strategic objectives, will try to sort out priority areas for the first half of this year. Some of these objectives include ensuring that the LCN's organisational sustainability is promoted; that its affairs are driven by active, supportive and participatory members as well as ensuring that public, civil society and government appreciate the umbrella body as a coordinator, trainer and spokesperson for member NGO's.

The meeting will be attended by LCN Programme Officers and members of the board of governors of the LCN.
