| College of Education Introduces Curriculum for the Visually Impaired | |
| The
National League for the Visually Impaired has agreed with the Lesotho
College of Education (LCE) to include in the latter's curriculum, facilities
that accommodate people with visual disability. The League's Mr. Lekhooa Kholuoe, told the Lesotho News Agency (LENA) that this came as a result of the realisation by their association that the College of Education had no provision for people with visual disability. The LCE's management had agreed that lecturers would have training sessions that would help in the teaching of visually impaired people. The college had ordered equipment, including Perkins Braille, embossers and computer soft-ware to provide learning opportunities for students with visual problems. 24 January 2005 |
