Justice System Comes Down Hard on Sexual Harassment
Basotho men may have to come to grips with laws against sexual harassment the hard way. The Maseru Magistrate's Court has sentenced two men to three years imprisonment for fondling the breasts of three girls without their approval.

Finding Neo Ntsoele (20), and Tsietsi Monts'o (25) both of Motimposo guilty under the Sexual Offences Act number three of 2003, on January 13, Magistrate Mr Pule Mathaha said it was immaterial whether the accused had sex with the girls or not, but the fact was that they fondled the girls bodies without their consent.

The two men had evidently picked the girls up at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) next to Lesotho High School at 8 0'clock on the night of December 31, last year.

The men pleaded guilty and requested the court to pardon them promising never to commit a similar offence in future.
