| Hlotse Gets Street Lighting | |

Lighting of Hlotse town is expected to be completed on March 13 although
some parts of the town have already begun reaping the benefits of the M1, 8
million street lights project.
Principal Roads Engineer in the
Ministry of Public Works and Transport, which is in charge of the project,
Mr. Mochekoane Ramashamole, said the seven kilometres of street lighting
town at the A joyous Hlotse community expressed its satisfaction through a member of the town's Urban Board, Mrs 'Mamotheba Leisanyane, who said the lighting would help solve one of Hlotse's perennial social problems, crime. Sharing the enthusiasm was Mr.
Mohau Leteka, acting local chief who however appealed for the project to
cover the whole town. Hlotse was the second biggest after Maseru, he said. |
