High Court Now Has Three Female Justices
 

The third female judge of the Lesotho High Court, Justice Nthomeng Majara (42) was sworn in by the Chief Justice, Justice Mahapela Lehohla at the Royal Palace in Maseru on July 25.

The other two female judges are Justices Kelello Guni and 'M'aSeshophe Hlajoane. The swearing in of  Justice Majara brings to 10 the number of Judges of the Lesotho High Court.

Justice Majara attained her BA Law degree in 1984, her LLB in 1992 and Masters in Law degree in 1997.

She has worked as a Lecturer at the National University of Lesotho (NUL) and has also been a magistrate.

The ceremony was witnessed by King Letsie III, the Prime Minister Mr Pakalitha Mosisili, Judges of the High Court and other senior government ministers.
