Hey Ducks LEFA Meeting

All eyes are on the Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) following Likuena coach Tony Hey’s non-appearance at a meeting called to have him explain his being absent without approval for over a month.

LEFA called Hey before its executive committee on September 15 to answer questions that include accusations of bringing the Association into disrepute but the German coach did not turn up for the meeting.

LEFA chief executive officer Kholoang Mokalanyane said they were disappointed by Hey's failure to appear before the executive committee meeting despite the Association informing him by letter and other reminders of the meeting.

Mokalanyane said the coach had so far not reported officially at the office since his arrived back into the country. He had also failed to respond to letters written him about his alleged disappearance.

Hey has declined to comment on the matter.
