Wednesday
July 13 will be a day to remember for five children who have been sheltered
at the Maseru Children's village since 2002.
The children will be re-united with their families after staying at the
Lesotho Save the Children (LSC) Children's Village while the mothers served
prison sentences at the Female Correctional Institute, according to LSC
Manager, Mrs. Mphonyana Mofokeng.
A small farewell ceremony is to be held in honour of the children, Mrs.
Mofokeng said, showing how they will be given gifts of blankets, clothing
and food parcels donated by Dorcas Aid Intentional-Lesotho.
Lesotho Save the Children is a Non-Governmental Organization which provides
temporary home for abused, abandoned and neglected children countrywide.
