The National University of Lesotho has introduced new security measures on certificates issued to graduates to foil producers of fake degree certificates. 

The new certificates were launched at a ceremony in Maseru by Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Mafa Sejanamane. 

University information and public relations officer, Mr. Tšiu Tšiu, said the new certificates incorporate a contemporary design as well as the security features. The NUL will begin issuing the certificates at its graduation ceremony in October.
