Farewell to Irish Consul

Irish Consular General, Mr Bill Nolan  not only served as a diplomat but as a true friend to Lesotho and Basotho in general during his four-year tenure in the country, according to Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Monyane Moleleki.

Mr Moleleki said Consular General Mr Nolan worked hard at making the diplomatic ties between Lesotho and his country become more and more strong. Through him, the Republic of Ireland has assisted Lesotho in many sectors, but more significantly in the universal basic education and the fight against HIV/AIDS, the Minister said.

Consular General Nolan he leaves in good spirits, knowing he is leaving a strong-minded nation that would let nothing to stand in their way in as far as development is concerned.

He expressed gratitude to all those he worked with in the past four years and that it is his hope that they would continue working harder and for the betterment of Lesotho and Basotho.
