| A task
force has been appointed to draft the Drugs Regulatory Authority Bill, the
Minister of Health and Social Welfare Dr. Motloheloa Phooko has told the
National Assembly. Responding to a question in the House about the need for a body to register and control drugs, Dr. Phooko said government has adopted a national medicines policy which among other things stipulates the formation of the Authority, which will control the movement of drugs in the country. 18 March 2005 |
