Drivers' Licences Ready for Pick Up

It will now take two weeks to get a drivers' license, instead of the six months it took in the past. This bold promise has been made by the Principal Secretary for the Ministry of Works and Public Transport, Mr. Monyane Mathibeli, in an interview with the Lesotho News Agency (LENA).

Mr. Mathibeli said installation of new equipment used in the production of drivers' licences has enabled the Ministry to overcome the problem of delayed issuance of the licences. More than 15 000 applications for drivers' licences have been cleared since the installation of the new equipment early this year

There are currently more than 7 000 licences ready to be picked up, Mr. Mathibeli said.
