DPM Lehohla in Abuja for AU Assembly
  The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs and Public Safety Mr. Lesao Lehohla will lead the country's delegation to the fourth Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government Assembly starting in Abuja, Nigeria from January 30 to 31, 2005.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the delegation, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Monyane Moleleki; Lesotho's Permanent Representative to the AU Resident in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Mr. Mosuhla Leteka and officials from the Ministry.

The Assembly is expected to discuss the reports of both the chairs of the Peace and Security Council, Heads of State Implementation Committee on New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), and of the Reform Committee of the United Nations Security Council.

Also under discussion will be implementation of previous decisions and declarations on HIV and AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis and Polio eradication.

Mr. Lehohla returns to Lesotho on February 2.
