Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Lesao Lehohla is at the head of Lesotho’s delegation to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) being held in Valletta, Malta from November 21 to 23.

The Lesotho delegation includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Monyane Moleleki; the Government Secretary, Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane; Lesotho's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Morena Seeiso Bereng Seeiso and; the Director of Europe, Americas and Commonwealth Affairs, Mr. Makosholo.

CHOGM 2005 will provide an opportunity for leaders to take stock of global political and economic developments and how the Commonwealth has responded, since the last meeting in December 2003 in Abuja, Nigeria.

With the theme 'Networking the Commonwealth for Development', CHOGM 2005  will allow leaders not only to discuss the important issue of bridging the digital divide, but also identify ways of enhancing co-operation for prosperity, development and democracy, using Commonwealth networks to achieve these goals.
