The Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) will host the Commander of Botswana Defence Force Lieutenant General Luis Motshwenyego Fisher at Ratjomose Barracks from October 4 to 8, 2005.

A statement issued by the LDF Public Affairs Office said the visit will cement already existing bilateral relations between the two armies and allow the officers to discuss matters of defence and military cooperation.

Over the years, there has been joint training and a series of offers for courses taking place between the BDF and LDF, which have come to encompass a broad range of general and specialty trainings active within both forces, the statement said.

 It is expected that the BDF Commander will hold talks with the Minister of Defence, Mr. Pakalitha Mosisili.
