University Open Day, Cultural Day  coming up in March at the NUL

In a new effort to market itself, the National University of Lesotho will beginning this year host an Open Day at the Roma Campus on March 12 and 13, the University's Information Office has announced.

The event, the Information Office said, will be an annual even as part of the NUL's plans to reconnect with the nation, opening up its activities and programmes for scrutiny by the community. Past and present high school students and their teachers will have opportunity to learn what facilities the University offers in terms of academic programmes, the type of students registered as well as admission requirements into the
different programmes.

The open day will give both the students and teachers opportunity to have first hand experience and feel of the university, with an organised tour of the campus and its facilities, discussions with academic staff and  university students, addressing their concerns and question regarding the university. Also expected are career guidance stakeholders including other tertiary institutions, non-governmental organizations, public and private sectors and the media.

It will be held simultaneously with the annual cultural day, a student initiative aimed at raising the cultural awareness amongst tertiary students.
