Telecom Lesotho Contributes to Moshoeshoe Scholar Award

Telecom Lesotho has donated M16 000 to the Moshoeshoe Scholar Award of the national University of Lesotho (NUL). Chief Executive Officer Mr Adri van der Veer donated the money to the Management of the NUL at a function held at Telecom Lesotho Services Centre on September 22.

Presenting the donation, Mr. Van Der Veer said it is Telecom Lesotho's hope that the donation will effectively contribute to the existence of the Moshoeshoe Award over the years. Students who work hard in selected subjects in the Faculties of Science and Technology and, the Social Sciences receive honours under the Award.

Receiving the money on behalf of the NUL Management, Professor Mafa Sejanamane expressed the University's gratitude at the generous gift which will help the students to work even harder at their studies. He encouraged the Company to continue with this kind of assistance, not only to the NUL but also to other local
institutions.
