Statement by the Prime Minister Mr. Pakalitha Mosisili on the Death of the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Mr. Mofelehetsi Salemone Moerane on 28 September 2004

It is with deep sorrow, indeed, that His Majesty's Government announces the passing away of Honourable Mofelehetsi Salemone Moerane, Minister of Public Works and Transport, and Member of Parliament for the Koro Koro Constituency.

Honourable Mofelehetsi Salemone Moerane died this morning, Tuesday 28 September 2004, at the New Kensington Clinic, Johannesburg, after a long illness.

His Majesty's Government is consulting with the family of the deceased regarding funeral arrangements and the nation will be kept abreast of developments in this regard.

Sincere condolences go to His Majesty the King, the Moerane Family and the entire nation on this tragic loss.

May his soul rest in peace.
