Justice Ramolibeli appointed to Seychelles Appeal Court

 Former judge of the Lesotho High Court, Justice Mathealira Michael Ramolibeli has retired as a judge of the High Court, it has been announced.

A recent press release from the Office of the Prime Minister said Justice Ramolibeli's decision follows his appointment as President of the Court of Appeal of the Republic of Seychelles. He was appointed a permanent Justice of the Court of Appeal of Lesotho in November 2002, a position clearly distinguishing him from High Court Judges who serve as ex-officio members of the Court of appeal in terms of Section 123(2) of the constitution.
