President Mogae Visits Lesotho |

Botswana President Festus Mogae and First Lady Mrs. Barbara Mogae are to start a four-day state visit to Lesotho from April 14 to 17, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced. According to the statement, President Mogae on arrival, will pay a courtesy call on King Letsie III and the Prime Minister Mr. Pakalitha Mosisili and, on the second day, address Parliament. He is also scheduled to visit the Morija Museum and be hosted by the King Letsie and Queen at Matsieng. A state banquet will be hosted in the President and First Lady' honour at the Lesotho Sun later that day. President Mogae will visit the Ts'ehlanyane National Park in the Leribe district on April 16 and have a sleep over at Katse, where he and his entourage will be taken on a tour of the dam. He is expected to address the public at the end of the tour. The visit will end with a tour of the Mohale Dam on his way to back to Maseru. The visit comes just a short while after High Commissioner Motlhware Kgosi Masisi presented his letters of credence to King Letsie III. 01 April 2004 |
