Mochesane qualifies for Athens

Lesotho's Lineo Mochesane will be among the ten taekwondo representatives of the African continent at the Olympic Games in Athens after qualifying at the Africa Olympic Qualifying Games held in Cairo, Egypt
last week.

Mochesane  will be among players from Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco, who qualified for the Athens Olympic games.

In an interview with LENA, national Taekwondo coach, Phatoli Mahao was full of praise for Mochesane's  achievement saying that for her to have made it under such a tough and competitive situation, means she is a real champion. He also congratulated the other athletes for the impressive performance they gave. This as
proves that given enough time for preparation Lesotho can beat any country, he said.

The biggest challenge he is now faced with is ensuring that Mochesane gets physically and psychologically  prepared for the Olympic games. He plans to have her kept in camp with some few other athletes for physical fitness and then give her more training outside the country in the last two months before the Games.
