Lesotho Attends African Peer Review Mechanism Forum
  The Prime Minister, Mr Pakalitha Mosisili, will lead the country's delegation to the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) forum to held in Algiers, Algeria on November 23.

The APRM is an African self-monitoring mechanism, voluntarily acceded to by member states of the African Union (AU).  Currently 23 members states of the AU including Lesotho, have signed  the APRM process. Heads of State and Government of participating countries to the APRM constitute the APRM forum, the highest body governing the peer review process.

In a press statement,  the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the APRM forum aimed at fostering the adoption of policies related to good governance, high economic growth, sustainable development and accelerated regional and continental economic integration through sharing of experiences.

It said the forum will also address the reinforcement of successful and best practices including identifying deficiencies and assessing the needs for capacity building.

The Prime Minister's delegation comprises the Minister of  Foreign Affairs Mr Monyane Moleleki, the Senior Private Secretary to the Prime Minister, Mrs 'Mamohlomi Seitlheko, the Deputy Principal Secretary of Foreign Affairs Mr Thabang Lekhela and other senior government officials.
