LCD Youth League Holds its AGM

The Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD) Youth League will hold its annual general meeting at the Lesotho Cooperatives College, Maseru, from October 1 to 3, 2004, according to the executive secretary in the LCD head office, Mr Palo Leteete.

The meeting would among other things, review progress made in the affairs of the League under the leadership of the present executive committee. A new executive would also be elected since under the League's constitution this is done annually.

Representatives are expected from all the 80 constituencies, as are those from other structures of the party including the national executive committee and the women's league. Delegates from the youth leagues of other political parties invited from outside the country were also expected, Mr Leteete said

It is expected that the meeting will be officially opened on the second day
by the Prime Minster and leader of the party, Mr Pakalitha Mosisili.
