Though the rally would be held under the auspices of the Lesotho Congress for Democracy, it is open to all Basotho interested in the promotion of democracy and development of the country, Mr. Leteetee told the Lesotho News Agency (LENA).

A similar rally was held at Ha Marakabei last week and was addressed by the deputy leader of the party, Mr. Lesao Lehohla.

The Thaba- Putsoa by-elections comes as a result of the death of the former LCD member of parliament for the constituency who died in September last year.
