TELECOM LESOTHO SUBMITS PROPOSAL FOR TARIFFS CHANGES TO LESOTHO TELECOMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY  FOR APPROVAL

 

The Telecom Lesotho (T L) has submitted a proposal to the Lesotho Telecommunications Authority, of a review of their existing tariffs for approval.

A press statement issued by LTA indicates that in the process of approval the authority shall take into account the view of the public on the reasonableness and otherwise of the proposal.

Key highlights of the TL’s tariff proposal include among others seven new prepaid packages and one post paid package, increase in rates for calls to mobiles, increase in monthly rental rates for post paid customers, introduction of a virtually telephony service/mail, and others

The approval process is expected to take place after February 29, 2003 when the  public consultation  will be completed.
