The Nedbank- Lesotho will make a draw of the winner of the Nedbank Morija Cultural Investment Account, at the bank's head office in Maseru, on Thursday next week. The bank's spokesperson, Miss Tlalane Maphasa, told LENA in an interview that the account was launched last year in September, to raise funds as a contribution towards the Morija Arts and Cultural Festival.

All people  who opened  accounts from that time were given  six months  to invest into the account and all the investors were automatically entered into the draw. Miss Maphasa indicated that about 312 persons opened  accounts at  four branches of the bank, in Maseru, Maputsoe, Mohale's Hoek and Mafeteng. The winner of the draw will be announced at the same function and will be awarded a M1 000.

The Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture, Miss Lebohang Nts'inyi has been invited to attend this occasion and will be expected to convey her  acknowledgement towards Nedbank's contribution in the cultural development of the country.

Nedbank is one of the major sponsors of theAnnual  Morija arts and Cultural Festival. Last year the  bank  contributed M60 000 for the activities of last year's festival and it is expected to increase this amount for this year's festival, which will be held from  October 2 to 5.
