ARTS, CULTURAL GROUPS TO HOLD FINAL REHEARSALS
 


Arts and cultural groups, which would be representing Lesotho at the SADC Multi-Disciplinary Festival in Pretoria, South Africa between April 18 and 26, will  hold their last rehearsals at the Lesotho National Convention Centre on Sunday
this week.

In an interview, a Mosotho Historian from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Mr. Sello Mokhanya told LENA that at the final rehearsals would be graced by among others; the Director of Tourism and Culture, Miss. Ntsema Khits'ane to see the groups' last rehearsals before leaving for Pretoria. Mr. Mokhanya further explained that during this final rehearsals the groups concerned would receive critiquing from different arts critics to polish up the performances of the groups.

The SADC Multi-Disciplinary Festival has been organised by the South African Ministry of Culture with the purpose of helping the SADC artists to share ideas about their different experiences as far as African culture and arts are concerned. The groups that will be representing Lesotho include the Lesotho famo music group, Manka Le Phallang, Young People's Theatre, Lesotho DanceSport Association (LEDASA) and many others.
