PRIME MINISTER ARRIVES FROM SMART PARTNERSHIP DIALOGUE
    The Prime Minister, Mr. Pakalitha Mosisili arrived at  Moshoeshoe I international airport on Monday 05 August, 2002. from the Smart Partnership dialogue held in Langkawi, Malaysia last week. Upon arrival at the airport, Mr. Mosisili, who was accompanied by, among others, the Minister of Trade, Industry and Marketing, Mr Mpho Malie, the Minister of Employment and Labour, Mr Sello Machekala and his wife Mrs 'Mathato Mosisili, said the forum also deliberated on how Malaysia could help East and Southern African countries to develop their economies
for the betterment of their peoples.
          

He said the dialogue also served as a forum to strengthen friendship between Lesotho and Malaysia. The theme for this year's dialogue was "Towards a Smart Globe-Enhancing Security and Prosperity for Development through Smart
Partnership". The dialogue is held every two years between Malaysia and the
East and Southern African countries with the objective of enhancing economic
development through Smart Partnership.
