He indicated that the play, sponsored by SATI, is intended to promote protection of human rights and to promote democracy in the Southern region of Africa and to develop a common understanding of the true meaning of the two concepts in the region  through theatre. The nomination of the actors and actresses will start in December and one actor or actress will be selected from each of the 14 countries in the Southern region. After the nomination, the actors and actresses will be put
together in one country to rehearse the play for eight weeks.
