| LEBANON AND LESOTHO NORMALISE DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS | |

Lesotho Ambassador Resident in
Egypt, Reverent Shadrack Moeketsi Ndumo this May 28 presented Letters of
Credence accrediting him as a Non-Resident Ambassador to Lebanon. Accepting the letters, President Emile Lahoud Nabeh of Lebanon expressed his appreciation to Government of Lesotho for taking the initiative to normalise the diplomatic relations between the two countries. President Emile Lahoudreiterated that, Lebanon and Lesotho have a long standing record of working together in the past in international organisations, in particular, the United Nations. Lebanon is looking forward that these relations are fruitful and wishes good health to the people of Lesotho and their King Letsie III, said President Emile Lahoud. In response, Ambassador Ndumo thanked President Emile Lahoud for the initiative to normalise the relations between Lebanon and Lesotho and indicated that, they (the relations) would be enhanced through bilateral cooperation and understanding between the two countries. | |
