Measures to Combat Cross Border Stock Theft on the Mokhotlong/ Kwazulu
Natal Border
Cabinet directed
that, as a measure to address the problem of stock theft in the
country, every six months, the police, assisted by the army, should
raid villages, targeting known notorious thieves.
Cabinet further directed that, a
Commission of Inquiry be established to investigate the involvement of
some of the Chiefs and the Police in cases of stock theft. |
