Ministry of Public Works and Transport ensure that a back-up system for
electricity is installed at the MIA to prevent damage to perishables due
to electricity cut-offs.

Cabinet directed
that, the Disaster Management Authority (DMA) provide weekly progress
reports on the implementation of Government Directives on the issue of
famine. Such reports should cover all the districts. |
