1.RATIFICATION  OF THE  CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE  IN   ENDANGERED  SPECIES  OF  WILD  FAUNA  AND   FLORA (CITES)  

        Resubmitted Memorandum C3(2002/6)31 by the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs.

          Cabinet approved:  

(a)  That Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho ratify the Convention on  International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES);

(b)    That the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, or a person designated by him, be authorized to issue an Instrument of Ratification of the said Protocol on behalf of the Government  of Lesotho

2.ACCEPTANCE   OF   DR.  LASZLO   PORDANY   AS   THE AMBASSADOR  OF  THE  REPUBLIC  OF  HUNGARY  TO THE  KINGDOM  OF  LESOTHO

The accreditation of Dr. Laszlo Pordany as the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to the Kingdom of Lesotho.

3.  AMENDMENT OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS ACT NO. 22 OF 1973

        Memorandum C3(2002/6)70 by the Honourable Minister of Local Government.

        Cabinet approved:

  (a)    That the law regulating Registration of Births and Deaths be amended;

  (b)    That the Law Office be instructed to amend the Act accordingly.
