1.     AMENDMENT TO AGRICULTURAL MARKETING ACT, 1967

 Joint Memorandum C3(2002/6)47 by the Honourable Ministers of Industry, Trade and Marketing and of Agriculture, Cooperatives and Land Reclamation.  

 Cabinet approved:  

(a)  The amendment of the Agricultural Marketing Act 1967;

(b) The repeal of the Agricultural Marketing (Amendment) Act 5 of 2001; and the Agricultural Marketing (Amendment) Order No. 6 of 1991; and

(c)   That the Drafting Section of the Law Office should prepare the necessary Legislation thereof.

2.          NATIONAL IDENTITY CARDS

          Memorandum C3(2002/6)49 by the Honourable Minister of Home Affairs.  

          Cabinet approved:  

(a)     The issuance of National Identity Cards to citizens of Lesotho; and 

(b)    The Introduction of legislation in this regard.
