 1.       ACCEPTANCE OF MR. ABDUL NASIER SH, LLM AS THE

AMBBASSADOR OF INDONESIA TO THE KINGDOM OF LESOTHO 

Memorandum C3(2002/6)3 by the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs. 

          Cabinet approved: 

-        The accreditation of Mr Abdul Nasier Sh, Ilm as the Ambassador of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Lesotho. 

2.       THE RESTRUCTURING AND TRANSFORMATION OFTHE EXISTING PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION INTO A HUMAN RESOURCE FUNCTION 

Memorandum C3(2002/6)4 by the Right Honourable the Prime Minister and Minister responsible for the Public Service. 

          Cabinet approved: 

(a)      The New Human Resource Structures in Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies; 

(b)     That the structures be implemented in phases until completion; and 

(c)     That the officers who have not been successful in the screening be considered for redeployment. 

3.       INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW PUBLIC SERVICE BILL 2002 

Resubmitted Memorandum C3(2002/6)7 by the Right Honourable    the Prime Minister and Minister responsible for the Public Service. 

          Cabinet approved: 

          (a)      The Public Service Bill 2002; 

          (b)     That the Bill be tabled before Parliament for enactment  into law; 

          (c)     That the Public Service Act No. 13 of 1995 be repealed.
