1. 2001/2002 FIRST SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES

Cabinet approved:
(a) First Supplementary Estimates Appropriation (2001/2002) Bill;
(b) that, the Bill be presented to Parliament for enactment.
2. RE-NEGOTIATED SOUTHERN AFRICAN CUSTOMS UNION AGREEMENT
Memorandum C3(2002/5)11 by the Minister of Finance.

Re-negotiated Draft of Southern African Customs Union (SACU) Agreement, which was concluded and initialed by the SACU Ministers on 19 October, 2001 in Pretoria, South Africa
3. NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ELECTION (AMENDMENT) BILL 2002
Memorandum C3(2002/5)12 by the Minister of Law and Constitutional Affairs.
Cabinet approved:
The National Assembly Election (Amendment) Bill 2002.
4. ALLOCATION OF A SITE FOR THE NEW PARLIAMENT BUILDING AND PARLIAMENTARY VILLAGE
Memorandum C3(2002/5)13 by the Minister Responsible for Parliamentary Affairs.
Cabinet approved:
(a) that, the top of the Mpilo Mountain be allocated to the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs for constructing a new Parliament Building and Parliamentary Village;
(b) that, the necessary survey and site planning be carried out urgently;
(c) that, the necessary building designs be produced.
