The Centre for Empowerment and Social Analysis (CESA) will hold a two-day workshop on data collection on disabled people next month.

 In an interview, the Secretary General for the organisation, Mr Makara Nkuatsana said the objective of the workshop is to equip people who provide services to the disabled with skills in data collection so that they can use those skills to collect statistics of disabled people throughout the country. He said the data would help them when they provide services to know exactly how many people they are providing the services for, in a demarcated area.

Mr Nkuatsana said some services never reach some of the disabled people because they are not kno The Secretary General of CESA said it is also difficult to make assessments of the needs of the disabled persons when their number is not known, adding that the skills will help solve such problems.
