COMPUTER BUSINESS SOLUTIONS (CBS) TO PRESENT CERTIFICATE TO COMPUTER TRAINEES
 
About 50 trainees who have completed various computer courses at the Computer Business Solutions (CBS) training center will be awarded certificates at a ceremony to be held at Lesotho Sun hotel on August 17, 2002. In an interview, the CBS Managing Director, Dr Mohlalefi Sefika said the graduates are workers at different  private businesses and government departments who  have successfully completed courses varying from two weeks to one year duration period since last year, at the center.

Dr Sefika indicated that the courses covered during the training include computer appreciation, windows applications, financial accounting, data analysis, A+, graphic design and others, at basic and advanced levels. He stated that they wish to introduce diploma courses at their center which will fit within the education framework of Lesotho as a way of further fulfilling their commitment to ensuring the best computer knowledge at all levels of society.

He pointed out that they, at  CBS believe that computer literacy is a channel to a better future for individuals, governments and the entire world. He added that computers make life easy for people especially the internet which contains all the information essential to human lives. Dr Sefika expressed a view that through the use of computers by computer literate workers, many business operations have become more effective and more successful because computers are fast, accurate and they have a perfect
memory.

The certificates at the graduation ceremony will be presented by Dr Sefika. The graduation will be witnessed by heads of departments responsible for training at work places where the graduates come from.
